Aim:verify the relation ship between degree of polynomial and no.of zeros
1) p(x)=x-2
2) p(x)=x²-5 x + 6
3)p(x)=x³ -6 x²+11 x-6

1. x = 2

2. (x-2) (x-3) so x = 2 & 3

3.

P(x) = x³  - 6x² + 11x - 6

p(1) = 1 - 6 + 11 - 6 =0

∴ x - 1 is a factor

(x³ - 6x² + 11x - 6) ÷ (x-1)

= x² - 5x + 6

= (x - 2) (x - 3 )

∴ x = 1, 2, 3
