1) Use of chemical fertilizers : when these chemicals drain into rivers, the river water gets polluted. The growth of algae and other plants on the river bed use up oxygen leaving insufficient oxygen for the fish life. This water is supplied to cities.Toxic elements in water affects human health and livestock.

2) Pesticides: Pesticides has weakened the human immune system.Because pesticides remain in crop which is eaten.This causes disease like gastro-intestinal infection,tuberculosis etc.
