Aims and objectives of shares and debentures:

Initial investment or Capital is called the shares of the company and the debts incurred by the company are called debentures of the company. Share means ownership, people who provide investment to the company are called shareholders.

Any company who needs money for the investment for expanding their business, they can list their company in Shares. Since debentures are debts, they get loan which carry lower interest and lengthier repayment dates.
