Hey ! Brother

We have given three identical spherical conductors . P, Q and R .
____________________________________________________________
Charges on the conductors are as follows -10 μC , 40μC and q.
____________________________________________________________

Now first we calculate Force of attraction between P and Q .

F = κ  \frac{ 10 . 40}{ d^{2} }

F = 400 κ / d²-------------------------------------- ( 1 )
_____________________________________________________________
Case : 1
_____________________________________________________________
Now the P and Q touched to each other

The both conductors identical so there Charges now Become equal .
=  (40 -10 ) / 2
= 15 μC

Case :2

Now, Body Q and R touched .

It means that they acquire same charges too .

=( 15 +q ) / 2

Now They again parted away ....

4F = { κ  \frac{ ( 15 +q )}{ 2}    \frac{15 + q}{2} } / d²____(2)

Put the value of F in the above equation ( 2 )

4 x  400 κ / d² = κ{ ( 15 + q) /2 }² / d²

1600 = { ( 15 + q) /2 }²

Taking root both side .

40 = ( 15 + q ) / 2

80 = 15 + q

q= 80 -15

q = 65 μC ( d )

Hope you get it bro : ]
