When the level of contaminants in air becomes
so much that air becomes harmful for living
beings; it is called air pollution.
Causes of Air Pollution: The main causes of air
pollution are as follows:
(a) Exhaust from Automobiles: Most of the
automobiles use fossil fuels. Burning of fossil
fuel releases carbon dioxide and carbon
monoxide. Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas.
Carbon monoxide is a poisonous gas even at low
concentrations.
(b) Exhaust from Factories and Power Plants:
Coal is the main fuel being used in factories.
Burning of coal produces carbon dioxide and
oxides of sulphur. Oxides of sulphur and nitrogen
form acid rain when they mix with rainwater.
Acid rain is harmful for living beings and also for
buildings and monuments.
(c) Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs): These are
compounds of carbon and halogens and are used
as refrigerant. These are also used in
pressurized cans. Excess level of CFCs in the
atmosphere damages the ozone layer. Ozone
layer works like a shield and prevents the
harmful ultraviolet radiations from reaching up to
the living beings. Any damage in the ozone layer
can be very harmful.
(d) Suspended Particulate Matters (SPMs): Some
fine particles remain suspended in the air. These
are called suspended particulate matters. Stone
quarries and various other factories contribute to
SPMs.
Water Pollution
If water is cloudy,
smelly and has garbage
floating in it, then it’s
easy to know that it’s
polluted, but clear and
clean looking water can
be polluted as well with
toxic chemicals.
Polluted waters aren’t
safe to drink or swim in
and can cause illness
even years after you’re
exposed, or you can feel
the effects indirectly by
eating seafood that has
been poisoned by its
environment. Water
pollution occurs
naturally where oil and
petroleum leak from
underground into the
ocean in what are called
“Petroleum Seeps,” the
biggest one being off
the coast of California
in Coal Oil Point Seep.
Humans create water
pollution with adding
chemicals and oils to
the water from
factories, mining and oil
spills from commercial
tanker and throwing
garbage into open
waters from boats or
onshore, and untreated
sewage. Contaminants
like asbestos can get
into the water supply
causing devastating
health issues to those
exposed. Those affected
are encouraged to find
representation with a
wide range of expertise
so they can get them
the compensation they
deserve.

We need air , we breathe air but it nowadays it is not clear , it is not healthy the reason is again HUMAN BEING. Now we are in modern era thousand of motor vehicles are being developed every day and we buy it we , use it and exploit the atmosphere. I am not saying that we should not develp motor vehicle but we can decrease the use of these motor vehicle which causes air pollution. We should not use our personal vehicle such as car and motor cycle at a large scale instead of this we can use public vehicle such as bus which can load dozens of passengers and at a time and hence decrease in pollution as compared to individuals vehicle.
Nowadays in cities like delhi we can't even go outside without a handkerchief on our mouth.
Due to these pollutants air is becoming harmful for us and causing a number of disease.
So we need to improve the air quality by growing more and more plant and be reducing the use of motor vehicle.

SO SAVE GREEN GO GREEN.

Answer

We know that we need air, food and water for our survival but these all are being exploited by the human activities but among these three most important need we will talking about water.

We all know that we need water for our survival on this blue planet ws need it for our daily work and we use it but in an inappropriate way as we think that water is endless. When we talk to onewho waste water they say that water is 3/4 on this earth.Well this fact is quite right but not all of us knew that of is 70% water only a little volume of water is drinkable and most is salty water which we can't drink. And some are of glacier so only a liitle amount of water is left for drinking.
One major factor is increasing of pollutants in water bodies like rivers and lake. Many people especially from rural areas wash their cloth in river their cattles also take a bath in river water and now these all factor are becoming bane for the water bodies. Increasing in industries also increase industrial waste which are bring dispersed in water bodies which again cause water pollution.

So,we have stand and spread awareness about the impact of waterpollution.

SAVE WATER, SAVE LIFE.
