Given:

Condensation temperature = 82K

The temperature at which air becomes solid = 61K

To Find: Temperature on the celsius scale

Solution:

  • "K" depicts Kelvin.
  • These are phase change temperatures.
  • The process of conversion of gas to solid is called Condensation.
  • When the liquid is cooled to an even lower temperature, Liquid changes to solid.

Formula used:

K - 273.15 = C

0°C = 273.15K

Applying the above Formula:

82K

82 - 273.15 = -191.15C

61K

61 - 273.15 = -212.15C

Hence, 82 K and 61 K are -191.15C and -212.15C temperatures on the Celsius scale respectively.
