air density in himalayan region is more than that of the air in terai. why?

Explanation:

the colder air is having higher density as compared to warm air. as we know in Himalayan region the air is comparatively colder than that in terai region (which is a typical grassland), because of ice spread over Himalayan mountain range. this makes the density of air higher in Himalayan region than that in terai region.
