t = 2 mm

◆ Explanation-
# Given-
μ = 1.0003
λ = 6000 A = 6×10^-7 m
n' = n+1

# Solution-
Let be the thickness of air column.
n = t/λ
n' = t/λ'

We have-
n' = n + 1
t/λ' = t/λ + 1
t(1/λ' - 1/λ) = 1

Putting λ' = λ/μ
t = λ/(μ-1)
t = (6×10^-7) / (1.0003-1)
t = (6×10^-7) / (3×10^-4)
t = 2×10^-3 m
t = 2 mm

Thickness of air column will be 2 mm.
