No. Air is not a good conductor of any form of energy. Neither heat nor electricity nor sound. So, as to answer your question, if you light a candle or a stove. You might feel that you are getting heat and a possible thought may come in your mind that it is because the air is a conductor of heat. But this is due to radiation of heat from the candle.

If you were heating a metal rod, then even a 100 metres long rod will get very hot, evenly on putting it’s one end in a stove. But, on standing at a distance of 100 metres from the stove , you will not feel the heat of the stove. This is because the air acts as a buffer to the transmission of heat.
