Air is filled at 60°C in a vessel of open mouth. The vessel is heated to a temperature T so that 1/4^th part of air escapes.

Based on the question, the input values are given as follows.

M1 = M

T1 = 60+273 = 333K

M2 = M – M/4

So the equation goes like this, where T1 and T2 are the different temperatures and so the same can be used to create the equation.

T2/T1 = M1/M2 = M/3M/4 = 4/3

T2 = 4/3 x T1 = 4/3 x 333 = 444 K

= 444-273 = 171 C
