Hi mate

Question

Why is air a homogenous mixture??

Answer

First let's understand the diference:

1- homogeneous - means single element

2- heterogeneous - means more than one element

  • Now air perse is a word to describe the breeze we feel in the wind. And what is processed in our long.

  • Now in our atmosphere the air is composed by several elements. Such as nitrogen, oxygen hydrogen I believe among other including secondary elements.

  • So based on what we have read above our breathing air is considered heterogeneous
