Answer:

As the height increases, pressure decreases and vice-versa. So as to maintain a constant pressure, air is pumped into as it climbs because pressure decreases and air is let out again because pressure again increases.

Answer:

Answer: Air pressure in the higher altitudes is very low which means that the presence of gases will also be be low but we humans need oxygen to breathe so when an Aircraft enters higher altitude air is pumped into the aircraft so as to keep the air pressure inside the aircraft low.
