Answer:

Let A be Aishwarya's age

Let C be her cousin's age

Aishwarya is five times her cousin's age

equation i.  A = 5*C

12 years hence, she will be twice her cousin's

equation ii.  A+12 = 2 * (C+12)

Substituing  equation i in  equation ii

5*C + 12 = 2*C +24

3C = 12

C = 4

If C = 4 the  A = 5 * 4 , therefore Aishwarya's age is 20

hey mate here is ur answer ...

let age of Aishwarya cousin=x

so, age of Aishwarya=5x

(A.T.Q.)

2(x+12)=5x+12

2x+24=5x+12

24-12=5x-2x

12= 3x

12÷3=x

4=x

hence age of Aishwarya cousin=x=4years

so, age of Aishwarya=5x=5×4=20years

hope it helps you mate
