Solution

Given :-

  • C.P. of an article = 3069
  • cost for Repair = 408
  • S.P. for article = 3700

Find :-

  • Profit or loss%

Explanation

Here,

Total cost of an article will be

= C.P. of articles. + cost of repairs

= 3069+ 409

= Rs. 3478

And,

S.P. = Rs. 3700

Here, S.P. is more than C.P.

Since, Ajay got profit on this article

Using Formula

Profit = S.P. - C.P.

So,

==> Profit = 3700 - 3478

==> Profit = 222

Now, Calculate profit%

==> Profit% = profit × 100/CP

==> Profit% = 222 × 100/3478

==> profit% = 6.38%

Hence

  • Profit% will be = 6.38%

Step-by-step explanation:

  \huge \sf \underline \mathfrak \pink{answer}

 \sf \underline{Given} -

  • C.P. of an article = 3069

  • Cost of Repair = 408

  • S.P. For article = 3700

Explanation

 \sf \underline{Here,}

Total article will be

=C.P Of article . + Cost of Repairs

= 3069 + 409

= Rs . 3478

And,

S.P =Rs .3700

Here, S.P is more than C.P

  • Since, Ajay got Profit on this article

Using Formula

 \sf \fbox \blue{Profit  = S.P. - C.P.}

So,

===> Profit = 3700 - 3478

===> Profit = 222

Now , Calculate Profit %

===> Profit % = Profit × 100/ Cp

===> Profit % = 222 × 100/ 3478

===> Profit % = 6. 38 %

Hence,

  • Profit % Will be = 6.38%
