molar mass of methane is 16g but in jar there is 8g of methane = 8/16 = 1/2

molar mass of carbon dioxide is 44g but in jar there is 11 g of carbon dioxide = 11/44 = 1/4

As 1/2 > 1/4 molecules of methane are more as compared with mass of carbon dioxide
