ajay is younger than Vijay by 5 years , the sum of their ages is 25, what is the age of Ajay..?? plz help me mates.

Let Vijay's age be x years.

So , Ajay's age = (x - 5)years

A/Q, x+ x-5 =25

⇒ 2 x= 30

∴ x = 15

Ajay's age = 15 - 5 = 10 years

so, Vijay 's age = x+5 years

now , a/q--
x + x+5 = 25
2x = 20
x = 10

so, Ajay's age = 10 years
