But this was the first journey where Ajay had to go alone as he was transferred to Hyderabad from Kolkata as a mechanical engineer in the company Genpact. Ajay made up his mind that he needed to travel alone so he packed all his belongings carefully.
His parents were happy at the promotion of their son but were sad too on the thought of separation from him. Finally the day came when Ajay had to bid goodbye to his parents and left for the Howrah Station in Kolkata. But to his utter surprise he saw that his parents were standing on the same compartment as his, when he reached the station. On expressing his surprise, his father told him that they wanted to surprise him so they booked the tickets for Hyderabad on the same day when Ajay booked.
And after Ajay left in a taxi that day, they took a cab and took the shortcuts and reached the station before him. His parents told him that they would stay for few days with him in Hyderabad and after everything is settled they would come back. Ajay was extremely happy at this pleasant surprise and the three of them boarded the train together.
