Potential energy at the given height will be,

P.E. = mgh

P.E. = (17 kg) * (9.8 m/s^2) * (2 m)

P.E. = 333.2 kg*m/s^2 = 333.2 J

The work done by Ajit is 333.2 J

The work done by gravitational potential energy will be negative of the work done by Ajit i.e. -333.3 J
