Baljit's mark x = 800

Ajit's marks  = 720

Explanation:

Let Baljit got x marks

Given that,

Ajit got marks = x - \frac{10}{100}x

Kumar got marks  = x + \frac{20}{100}x

Kumar scored 960

On equating kumar's marks

 x + \frac{20}{100}x  = 960

 \frac{120}{100}x  = 960

 x = \frac{960 \times 100}{120}

Baljit's mark x = 800

Ajit's marks  = 800 - \frac{10}{100}\times 800

Ajit's marks  = 800 - 80 = 720

Answer:

Let Baljit got x marks

Given that,

Ajit got marks = x - \frac{10}{100}x=x−10010x

Kumar got marks = x + \frac{20}{100}x=x+10020x

Kumar scored 960960

On equating kumar's marks

x + \frac{20}{100}xx+10020x = 960=960

\frac{120}{100}x100120x = 960=960

x = \frac{960 \times 100}{120}x=120960×100

Baljit's mark x = 800x=800

Ajit's marks = 800 - \frac{10}{100}\times 800=800−10010×800

Ajit's marks = 800 - 80 = 720=800−80=720
