Answer:

Akash:

Area of a rectangle = length × breadth = 85 × 30 = 2550.

Srivatsan:

Area of a square = Side × side = 57 × 57 = 3249.

3249 is greater than 2550.

Hence Srivatsan ploughs more than Akash.

Answer:

Srivatsan ploughs more area

Step-by-step explanation:

The dimensions of Akash field are given

length = 85 m

breadth = 30 m

area of Akash's field = length × breadth

                                  = 85 × 30

                                  = 2550 m²

The side of Srivatsan's field is given to be 57 m

area of Srivatsan's field = side × side

                                       = 57 × 57

                                       =  3249 m²

Area of Srivatsan's field > Area of Akash's field
