GIVEN :  Profit sharing ratio between Akash, Yogesh , Bhavesh 4:3:1 ; Gaining Ratio between Akash and Bahvesh is 4:5.

TO FIND :  New profit sharing ratio

SOLUTION :

As Yogesh is retiring from the partnership and his share is acquired by Akash and Bhavesh in the ratio of 4:5.

Akash acquired yogesh share =  \frac{4}{9}

Bhavesh acquires yogesh share = \frac{5}{9}

New share of Akash = \frac{4}{8} × \frac{4}{9}

                                   = \frac{16}{72}

New share of Bhavesh = \frac{1}{8} × \frac{5}{9}

                                  = \frac{5}{72}
