Step-by-step explanation:

Let Akbar's current age be 2x ,so the current age of Ahmed is x.

After 4 years,

Age of Akbar = 2x+4

Age of Ahmed = x-6

According to the problem,

2x+4=4(x-6)

or, 2x+4=4x-24

or, 4+24=4x-2x

or, 2x=28

or, x=14.

Therefore, the current age of Akbar is 28 and of Ahmed is 14.

The ages of Akbar and Ahmed two years ago were 26 and 12.
