Akela rode her bike 48 km for 3 hours, she rested for 1/2 hour and then rode another 24 km for 1 hours. What was her average speed?

Explanation:

distance travelled = 48 + 24 = 72 km

total time to complete the journey = 3 + 0.5 + 1 = 4.5 hours

Average Speed = Distance travelled / Total time taken
