★ Let the present age of Bharath be x then Akhil age be 2x

• After 10 years ago
• Bharath's age = (x - 10)
• Akhil's age = (2x - 10)

**According to the given condition**

→ 2x - 10 = 4(x - 10)

→ 2x - 10 = 4x - 40

→ 40 - 10 = 4x - 2x

→ 2x = 30

→ x = 30/2 = 15

Hence,

• Present age of Bharath = x = 15years
• Present age of Akhil = 2x = 2*15 = 30years
