Heya,

According to the question,

The height at which the kite is flying is 60m

The angle formed by the string and the ground = 60°

So,
To find the length of string we will use sin60°

sin60° = perpendicular/hypotenous
√3 = 60/hypotenous
hypotenous = 60/√3
hypotenous = 20√3

So, the length of string = 20√3m

Hope this helps....:)

\large\tt\red{In\:∆ABC,}

\large\tt\red{\angle{ACB}=60°}

\large\tt\red{\angle{ABC}=90°}

\large\tt\red{sin\:60°=\frac{AB}{AC}}

\large\tt\red{\frac{√3}{2}=\frac{60°}{AC}}

\large\tt\red{AC=\frac{120}{√3}}

\large\tt\red{AC=\frac{120}{√3}×\frac{√3}{√3}}

\large\tt\red{AC=\frac{120√3}{3}}

\large\tt\red{AC=40√3m}
