Answer:

cp= 1960+40=2000 rupee

sp= 1500

loss= cp- sp

= 2000-1500= rupee 500

loss \: \% =  \frac{loss}{cp}  \times 100 \\  \frac{500}{2000 }  \times 1 00 =  \frac{50}{2}  = 25\%
