Akshay needs 465 cm of cloth to stitch his uniform. Anil needs three and a half meters. Who needs more cloth for his uniform? By how much?

Given:-

Length of cloth Akshay requires=465cm

Length of cloth Anil requires=3\frac{1}{2}\text{m}=\frac{7}{2}\text{m}

To Find:-

Difference of the cloth between Akshay and Anil

Explanation:-

Since  1m=100cm, therefore

Akshay requires=4.65m cloth and Anil requires=3.5m cloth

This shows that Akshay requires more cloth than Anil by (4.65-3.5)m of cloth i.e., 1.15m of cloth Akshay requires more than Anil or we can say that Akshay requires 115cm more cloth than Anil.
