Mean Mark (Average) = 80

Marks in four tests = 76, 83, 70 & 83

To find:

What is the mark of last test that akshay secured?

Let,

The Mark of last test will be taken as 'x'

Solution:

Total marks in five test = 80 × 5

= 400 marks

Total marks in four tests = 76 + 83 + 70 + 83

= 312 marks.

By subtracting 400 and 312,

By subtracting 400 and 312,We get,

= 400 - 312

= 88

Therefore 88 marks is secured by akshay in his last exam..
