Physics, asked by lanikey095, 4 days ago

Akshay was quite amazed when his physics teacher explained that colour ofan object depends on the colour of light reflected by it, and not on the colourof light absorbed by it. On returning home, he saw his blue shirt. He wondered what wouldbe its colour under red light. So he took his shirt and observed it in a room having red light. He was amazed to see that the shirt appeared black.
1.Why did the blue shirt appear black under red light?
