As we know , cold is a communicable disease . Rhinovirus is the causative agent of cold. The precautions we can take to prevent ourselves from cold are :

1. Cover your nose with the help of a cloth or mouth covering so that u can avoid the aerosols to get to you.

2. Avoid shaking hands and getting close to infected person.

3. Wear clothes that cover your body so that you yourself dont catch clothes.

4. Don't share meals or water with the infected person.
