Al is amphoteric. Prove.

its oxide is amphoteric i.e. Al2O3

when u add it with acid u get a salt and water. eg-Al2O3+6HCL---->2AlCl3+3H2O

and when u add it with base u get same.eg- Al2O3+2NaOH--->2NaAlO2+H2O
