Answer:

The answer to this question is

2Al + 3O2 » 2Al03

Explanation:

Before Balancing

Element. No.of atoms on left. On right

Al. 1 1

O. 2 3

Here Al is balanced but O is not balanced so multiply 3 on left side and 2 on right side

On right side AlO3 is a compound so when we will multiply 2 to Oxygen atoms the Al atoms will also get multiplied by 2

To balance these multiply 2 to Al atoms on right side of the equation.

We get

Element. No.of atoms on left. on right

Al. 1*2 = 3. 1*2 = 3

O. 2*3 = 6. 3*2 = 6

Therefore now the no.of atoms of both the elements are balanced on both the sides of the equation.

Therefore the balanced equation is

2Al + 3O2 » 2AlO3

I HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU.
