Al. Tarun has 14 marbles. He gives 6 of them to his friend Ankush. After a few days, Tarun buys
13 more marbles. He now wants to give away a fraction of the marbles that he currently
owns, such that this fraction is equivalent to the fraction of the marbles he gave away earlier.
How many marbles should Tarun give to Ankush?

Answer:

9 marbles

Step-by-step explanation:

marbles Tarun had initially = 14

gave away = 6

fraction = 6/14

= 3/7

Tarun again bought 13 marbles

marbles previously left with Tarun

= 14 - 6 = 8

total marbles Tarun has

= 8+13

= 21

suppose now Tarun gives x marbles

as per question

x/21 = 3/7

x = 21*3/7

= 9 marbles
