Answer:

K shell L shell K shell M shell valency

Al 2 8 3 - 3

( it has to lose 3 electrons to complete its octet structure so it will lose 3 electron and will become 3 +)

Fe 2 8 14 2 2

( where the iron have to lose two electrons and to complete its octet structure show those who lose electrons became positively charged and it will become Fe 2 + )

As we know that : Atomic number of Al (Aluminium) and Fe (Iron) is 13 and 26 respectively. So they donate 3 and 2 Electrons respectively to complete their octaves. Thus over +3 and +2 charge over them respectively.
