Al Beruni wrote a lot of books. One of his famous books is on Indian philosophy and religion. It is called the Taḥqīq mā 'll-Hind which is also known as India.
Regarding India he never wrote about the wars or the kingdoms, rather he always wrote about the traditions and customs of India.
