albrert thought of a number added 9 multiplied it by 4,took away 8 and divided by 6 to get an answer what was his starting number?

Let initial number be x and answer he get be y.
{(x+9)4–8}/6=y
4x+36=6y+8
2x+14=3y
Hence there be many set of (x,y) which would satisfy it.
For example, x=1 then y=16/3
x=2 then y=6 and so on.
