Alcohol and glucose contains hydrogen ions but why they are not considered as acid ? Please tell me the answer fast !!

Alcohol and glucose contains hydrogen ions but they are not considered as acid because , the ionisation does not take place in these compounds .

acids are those compounds which disassociates on hydrogen ions on dissolving in water.
but alcohol and glucose do not disassociates on hydrogen ions on dissolving in water.
that's why they are not considered as acids.
