Answer:

Phenol & Alcohol both are soluble in water due to hydrogen bond. The solubility of phenol is lower due to benzene ring which is a hydrocarbon part. Phenols do not react with organic acid because the carbon atom which is attached to hydroxyl group is unsaturated. Phenol are stronger acid in compared to alkyl alcohol.
