Alcohols are weaker acid than water. Give reaction.​

Answer:

alcohols contains an alkyl group which shows +I effect. due to this, the electron density on oxygen increases and the release of H+ ion become difficult. In water there is no such effect.

Alcohols are weaker acid than water because the water contains more H plus ions than alcohol

so,the water is stronger than alcohol
