Alex and Kim studied in class VII that plants prepare their food in presence of light, carbon
dioxide and chlorophyll. Both of them were performing an experiment to see that light is
necessary for photosynthesis. Alex destarched the leaves of a potted plant and covered one
of its leaf with a black strip of paper on both sides as shown below
