Initially, we have 112 pounds

And we have to divide it among three people, Alex, Sara and Henry in ratio 3:3:2

Let Alex got 3x pounds, Sara got 3x pound and Henry got 2x pound

(Ratio = 3x:3x:2x = 3:3:2)

Now

(3x + 3x + 2x) pounds = 112 pounds

8x = 112

x = 112/8

x = 14

Thus alex will get (14*3=) 42 pounds

Sara will get (14*3=) 42 pounds

and Henry will get (14*2=) 28 pounds
