Option D is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that

Alfred invest money = 45000 for 12 months

Peter invest money = 60000 for 9 months

Ronald invest money = 90000 for 6 months

Ratio of their money invested is

Alfred   :     Peter    :    Ronald

45000 × 12 : 60000 × 9 : 90000 × 6 =  1 : 1 : 1

Ratio of their profit share is

Alfred : Peter : Ronald

1 : 1 : 1

Total profit = 16500

Share of alfred = \frac{1}{3} × 16500

Share of alfred = 5500

Since the ratio of profit is same for all the persons then

Share of alfred = Share of peter = Share of ronald = 5500

Thus the share of each person is same & is equal to 5500.

Thus option D is correct.
