Here,
we know that a/b= b/c
a= b²/c
b²=ac (1)
Now
LHS= b
b+c
multiplying both denominator and numerator with b-c
we have,
b × b-c
b+c b-c
b²-bc (2)
b²-c²
putting the value of b² in eq(2)
ac-bc
ac - c²
c(a-b)
c(a-c)
a-b
a-c
