ANSWER:

1st solution :-

3v + 7v - v + v = ?

Cancelling the opposite terms

 \small \to \rm{3v + 7v    - \cancel{ v} +  \cancel{v}} \\ \small  \to \rm{3v + 7v = 10v}

Hence,

2nd solution:-

3x - 2y + 4z + 3y - 2z = ?

→ 3x + y + 2x

Hence, 3x - 2y + 4z + 3y - 2z = 3x + y + 2x

3rd solution:-

a - 2b - c - (3a - b + c)

→ a - 2b - c - 3a + b - c

→ - 2a - b - 2c

→ - (2a + b + 2c)

Hence, a - 2b - c - (3a - b + c) = - (2a + b + 2c)
