Yes Ali displays the quality of love and patience, as he was completely different in his young days when he was a hunter, but his situations change when his daughter Mariam got married and go away from him,, he realise the pain of separation and give up hunting.He loves his daughter a lot and he wait for her letter very eagerly, he doesn't care about about hot cold or any type of critical situation and waited from when the day started and till to its end,this show his love and patience for her daughter,, his patience is so much appreciable as he died in the wait,,,

Ali displays quality of love and patience.His whole life changed when his daughter got married and left him. He understand the feeling of separation at that time. He was a hunter and killing animals was his job but as now he understood that what is the pain of being separated from your loved ones,so he left hunting also. He went to the post office early morning everyday in the hope of a letter of his daughter. He was bullied and taunted by the people there, but still he comes daily early morning and wait for the letter. This shows his emmense loves towards his daughter.He was visiting post office since five years, though he didn't get any letter but still he continued this and still had a hope.He waited for her letter after his death also as he asked the clerk to keep the letter on his grave. This shows that he was a patient man.
