Ali had been a clever shikari but after the marriage of his daughter, he left hunting. He used to lost himself in the admiration of green cornfield. He understood that the whole universe is build up through love and the grief of separation is inescapable. From the very next day he used to go to the post office in a hope of receiving a letter from his daughter. This feelings of love and separation couldn't be understood by others except Ali. Even the post master used to ignore him and called him mad or pest. Ali had to live alone in this world and thus we can say that Ali is a sample of generation that is being neglected.
