Answer:
The Doorknob is a character specifically created for Disney's 1951 film Alice in Wonderland. He lives in the end of the Rabbit Hole and is the main entrance to Wonderland. He is also a tired, sleepy doorknob who loves sleeping and door jokes yet dislikes being disturbed by noises. It helps Alice by telling her to eat the magical shrinking potion, then he ,magical appeared the key on the table for unknown reason, then helps again to let her reach the key by letting her try the "eat me" cookies, to grew her giant, then shrink again in order to get through it to enter Wonderland.
In Kingdom Hearts, the Doorknob appears to be a lot more tired than in the movie, constantly telling Sora and co. to hurry up so it can go back to sleep. Similar to Kingdom Hearts, the Doorknob is still more tired than it was in the movie in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Once Roxas and Luxord drink the magical potion to make them shrink, the Doorknob has already fallen asleep and they must find a different way into Wonderland.
