distance travelled=183miles
time taken=3 hours
1 hour=183÷3=61

11 hours=61×11=671

ans:671

Given :

The distance cover by Alicia = d = 183 miles

the time time taken to cover this distance = t = 3 hours

To Find :

The distance cover by Alicia in 11 hours of journey

Solution :

Let The distance  cover by Alicia in 11 hours = D miles

∵   Speed = \dfrac{Distance}{Time}

So, Speed to cover d distance = \dfrac{d}{t}

                                                  = \dfrac{183 miles}{3 hours}

                                                 = 61  miles per hour

So, Speed to cover 183 miles distance = 61 miles per hour

Again

With this constant speed, Alicia travel next 11 hours

So, Distance cover by Alicia in next 11 hours = D miles

 Distance  = Speed × Time

Or,           D =  61  miles per hour × 11 hours

                   = 671 miles

So, Distance cover by Alicia in next 11 hours = D = 671 miles

Hence, The Distance cover by Alicia in 11 hours with same speed is 671 miles  . Answer
