We know,

P(E) = (Number of ‘E’ outcomes)/(Total number of trials) [Empirical probability]

⇒ Total number of trials = (Number of ‘E’ outcomes) / P(E)

We have,

Probability of spinner landing in green = 1/5

Spinner has landed (on green) = 7

∴ Total number of trials = 7 ÷ 1/5 = 7 × 5 = 35. (Answer – B.)
