Formula of simple interest :
A = P * (1 + r*t)
P = A / (1 + r*t) (1)

Here given that
r = 10% , t = 5 years & A = Rs. 45000
So filling this data in equation (1) ,
P = 45000 / (1 + (10/100)*5)
P = 45000 / (1 + (1/10)*5)
P = 45000 / (1 + (1/2))
P = 45000 / (3/2)
P = 45000 * (2/3)
P = 90000 / 3
P = 30000

Hence the amount invested by Alisha is
Rs. 30,000
